    "Imagine!" : The fundraising gala event went off without a hitch - an incredibly well-choreographed feat. The numbers of volunteers behind the scenes rivaled the number of attendees - well done, Orcas!     Relay for Life '09 - PreGathering and Relay : Gathering at Coffelt's beautiful garden as the launch for this year's Relay for Life Campaign here on Orcas. Then to the High School field July 10 and 11 for the relay with friends, family, relay teams and musicians - an 18 hr. affair!

    OICBand Plays Ladner, BC. '09 : Playing by invitation the Orcas Island Community Band crosses the border for a summer band festival.
